NextStep 1.

Okay as you can see this is going to be very simple to replicate. Start with a long rectangular shape for the bottom fold of Santa's hat. Once that is done, you can draw a triangle shape that curls at the tip. You will then draw a circle for the cotton like ball that is attached at the top of Santa's hat.

You will start sketching in the ruffled lining for the shape and style of Santa's hat fold as you see here. Once completed you can move to the next step.

You will now sketch out the cotton ball at the tip of the hat and be sure that the lining is the same as the hat's fold or rim. Once that is done you can then move to the next step.

Now you will sketch out the actual shape of Santa's hat as you see here. Add a crinkle or crease and the start erasing all the guidelines and shapes that you drew in step one.
