Step 1.

Begin by drawing the guides and shapes for each of the characters which are a pony and a bear. The bear is riding the pony or is sitting on the saddle or back. Sketch in the facial guides as well.

Step 2.

Up next, draw out the shapes of the Care Bear's head along with the pony's face structure. When that is done you can draw the tuft of hair for the Care Bear.

Step 3.

Up next, draw Rainbow Dash's mane along with the Care Bear's arm and hand which should be drawn in a waving position.

Step 4.

We will now draw in their faces. Eyes, eyebrows, noses, mouths and inner ear detailing. Detail the mane and then draw some of the chest arch.

Step 5.

We will continue to work on the bodies. The Care Bear should have the tummy and leg added and then the tuft for a tail. We will now draw the pony's body starting with the two legs a belly and the back end.

Step 6.

Finish up the pony with the remaining legs and then draw in the pony's tail. Rainbow Dash has a long luxurious tail.

Step 7.

Lastly, detail the tail and you can erase the mistakes and all the guidelines.

Step 8.

This is the final line art when you are done. Color in the two characters and you can show people another version of Rainbow Dash hanging with Love- A Lot.
